cd packaging – vintage appeal

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

my very talented friend casey kilroy asked me to design this cd packaging for her first recording project. when she mentioned she wanted to use family photographs from the era of the music (1940s) she was recording I was ecstatic to have a retro design project to work on. check out the photos of the project below. the packaging and disc were printed by oasis manufacturing who offers some great green options. the plastic tray is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and the rest of the product contains 30% post consumer waste materials. you can purchase casey’s cd and listen to samples of her music at caseykilroy.com (or at the Mercyhurst College Bookstore)! photos of casey were done by the talented rachel lusky of puremotif.
